The Filipino-American Student Union at UNC Charlotte
From Fall 2023–Spring 2025, I led the non-profit student organization as full-time President and part-time Creative Director. In the Summer of 2023, I began my Presidency by redesigning the organization's logo through an iterative process with feedback from the Executive Board. The logo family's primary presentation includes the graphic combination of the Niner Pickaxe and the carabao, the national animal of the Philippines, revered for its strength and determination. In addition to the new logo, I designed the merchandise for the organization and provided as a compliment to our members. The t-shirt design combines English and Baybayin, the precolonial script of the Philippines to present the name of the club in both languages, with decorative elements inspired by indigenous tattoo work.

In addition to the yearly t-shirts and rebranded logo, I designed the set for the Spring 2024 Executive Board Photoshoot. The photoshoot is a biannual tradition that celebrates the Executive Board and their commitment to fostering community on campus. Using my green thumb and eye for composition, I staged a scene with tropical plants that reference Filipino heritage and the biodiversity of the archipelago. At the end of the semester, I led the organization to the largest event in its history, the Inaugural Summer Nights Cultural Gala. Design components for this event included designing consistent branding for the invitations, social media posts, presentation, programs, and event takeaways.
