Adorna presents a fully-fledged prototype for a part social media part shopping application. The software gives a platform to artists, makers, and influencers to buy and sell historically inspired jewelry. Products on the app could include hairpins inspired by the ancient Romans or earrings that pay homage to the bright colors of the Impressionist movement. To create the application, process work included designing two personas, creating a user journey map, conducting competition analysis, and diagramming an information architecture map. Additional stages of development included paper prototyping, low and high fidelity iterations, and A/B testing. To market the application, the accompanying website was designed responsively for computers, tablets, and smartphones.
